Alexis Neiers initially worked as a hip hop and pole dancing instructor. Later, she served as a lingerie model and also appeared in the straight-to-DVD movie, Frat Party. Moreover, she appeared nude behind a sheet in the music video, Arma-goddamn-moherfuckin-geddon.

Neiers stayed with her Bling Ring co-defendant, Nick Prugo after she was kicked out of her mother’s and step fathers’ house. Neiers was nearly 17 when she and other group members started burglarizing the celebrities’ houses in Los Angeles. She knew the alleged ringleader of the gang, Rachel Lee when she was in school. They were studying at an alternative school in Calabasas, California.

Alexis Neiers and the Bling Ring members allegedly broke into around 50 houses between October 2008 and August 2009. Their first ever victim was actress, Paris Hilton. It was also revealed that they burglarized Hilton’s house several times. Later,  an anonymous informant informed about Neiers’ criminal counterparts. Following that, one of the Bling Ring members, Prugo was caught by a security camera robbing Lindsay Lohan’s house.

Prugo took less time in confessing his crimes and even spilled out about his fellow Bling Ring members. After that, search warrants were issued. Later, the police found Alexis in her house when she was trying to fit into her own microwave. The authorities found many stolen stuff in her house including Lindsay Lohan’s Chanel necklace and Rachel Bilson’s handbag.

Neiers eventually entered a no-contest plea and was convicted of the first-degree residential burglary of Orlando Bloom’s house. Along with that, she also served 1 month of a 6-month sentence. In addition, she was ordered to pay a $600,000 restitution fee. One of the Bling Ring’s victims, Lindsay Lohan was coincidentally serving a brief sentence next door in her last week sentence.

The Bling Ring’s story was presented as a documentary series by Netflix with the title “The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist’ on September 22. Besides being a member of Bling Ring, Alexis appeared in the reality show, Pretty Wilde in March 2010. During the filming of Pretty Wilde, she admitted to having a horrible addiction to heroin, OxyContin,  alcohol and Xanax. Even when she was filming, she was panhandling for money to feed her addiction and was living out of a Best Western hotel.
