He is a graduate of Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in International Business.

Marsau started receiving fame after he was featured as one of the cast members on Oprah Winfrey Network’s reality show “Love & Marriage: Huntsville”. Since the start of the reality show, he felt into controversy after the other powerful couple Martell Holt made a cheating allegation on him. Martell revealed that he had a relationship with 20 women despite being married to his wife, LaTisha. On the other hand, Maurice kept on proving Martell false as he didn’t accept his allegations.

Martell later provided further evidence against Maurice by claiming that he has witnessed with his eyes Marsau getting involved in relationships with other women. It was heartbreaking news for his wife LaTisha which made her sad and heartbroken. Marsau later received some support from his mother-in-law who defended him on social media. Though Marsau fell in controversy in the first season, he returned back for the second season.
