Stassi Schroeder was born  in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 24, 1988. She was born to Mark and Dayna. Her mother is a jewelry designer and her dad is an architect. She grew up with a younger sister, Georgianna, and two younger brothers, Nikolai and Hunter.

Schroeder took theatre classes at Mount Carmel Academy. She attended Loyola Marymount University when she returned to Hollywood at 18 years of age. Later, she held a Bachelor’s degree in English writing from the University.
