Jennie Nguyen was born on June 10, 1977, in Vietnam. She moved along with her parents to the United States when she was seven years of age. Jennie started off her career by working as a model. She has in fact collaborated with many local brands. After a brief stint as a model, she was offered to be a part of Bravo TV’s reality show called “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City”. She has been featured in the eight episodes of the reality series in its third season. 

Despite getting an amazing response from the reality show, she had to exit the show in the middle due to her social media controversy. She was dragged into a major controversy after she posted a few photographs on her official Facebook account making fun of Black Lives Matter and George Floyd. In January 2022, her Facebook posts started circulating all over the internet. 

After her racist post on Facebook, many people outburst their anger toward her through tweets and on other social media platforms. People started tweeting against Jennie demanding her to be fired from the reality show. Following all-over hatred, Jennie decided to apologize for her mistake and shared an apology note on her official Instagram account on January 20, 2022. She wrote on the Instagram post that she feels guilty for her words and perspectives about racism. 

However, despite her apology, Bravo TV decided to fire her from the show. On January 25, 2022, Bravo TV shared a post on their official Instagram page declaring that they have decided to bid goodbye to her from the show due to her social media controversy and conservative thinking. On the other hand, Jennie blamed her social media team for sharing offensive posts on her non-verified Facebook page in 2020. The post was shared on Facebook before she was featured as a cast member on the reality show “RHOSLC”.

Jennie Nguyen is married to Dr. Duy Tran. She has not yet shared how she felt in love with Tran and when she tied the knot with him. Her husband Duy Tran is a doctor who specializes in Chiropractors. As per sources, she doesn’t share a good bond with her better half as both often get into fights Tran wants a few more kids whereas Jennie doesn’t want. As of now, she shares two kids with hubby Duy; two songs Atlas, Triton, and a daughter, Karlyn. 

In one of the episodes of RHOSLC, Jennie revealed that she lost her daughter at 42 weeks. Her daughter couldn’t survive after an hour she delivered the baby. After her miscarriage, she started having issues with her husband Duy, which also emotionally drained her.
