Phaedra Parks was born on October 26 in the year 1973 in Athens, Georgia. She was born to Henry Parks and Regina Bell. Parks is one of the four kids of her pastor’s parents. She has a sister, Keosha Bell, and two brothers named Albert and Henri Jacques.

Parks studied at the London School of Economics (LSE). Later, she joined Wesleyan College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Phaedra then studied at the University of Georgia of Law where she earned a Juris Doctor in 1998.

Parks started off her career working at a company named GEICO. She joined the company in 1990 and worked there for over ten years until 2000. After leaving GEICO, she started working as an attorney at the Bridges Ormand & Faenza. She dedicated two years to working at the law firm. In January 2000, she started her own law firm named The Parks Group. She still owns the law firm and works as a managing partner and attorney.

Phaedra was known to people after she made an appearance on Bravo’s reality show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”. She started appearing in the reality in 2010. During the time, she was running her own legal practice and was a known attorney. She received positive attention and high publicity after she made her debut on Season 3 of RHOA.

By reaching Season 7, her appearance became a stint on the show. The season followed the multiple main storylines revolving around her. Parks’ unsuccessful marriage with Apollo Nida and her pregnancies with him was the major highlight of the show. She announced in a 2011 episode of RHOA that she would become a mortician.

Phaedra Parks was married to a guy named Apollo Nida in 2009. She reportedly dated him for 14 years before tying the knot with him. They share two kids together named Ayden Adonis Nida and Dylan. Her ex-husband was indicted on several counts of fraud and identity theft in 2014. She eventually filed a divorce with Nida after he was arrested and sent to prison for 8 years.
