Early Life
Scott Stallings was born on the 25th of March, 1985 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was born to Tim and Cheryl Stallings. Scott studied at Oak Ridge High School in Oak Ridge. He was a four-year member of the Dean’s List and was also an all-state golfer. Thereafter, he joined Tennessee Tech.
Scott was named an All-American in 2006. Along with that, he was named the two-time Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year. In 2008 and 2009, he competed on two golf tours, the Tarheel Tour and the NGA Hooters Tour.

Scott entered his first trip to the PGA Tour’s Qualifying School in 2009. There, he missed a PGA Tour card by just a single stroke. After that, he earned status on the Nationwide Tour.
Scott eventually finished 53rd on the Nationwide Tour by making 19 cuts in 28 events. In 2010, he made a come back to Qualifying School. He was able to finish T11 and then subsequently earned his card for 2011. Though, initially, he struggled and missed the first 5 cuts. But, he came back in his form by finishing T42 at the Puerto Rico Open. After that, he competed in the Transitions Championship, where he earned a third-place finish.
Stallings had entered and competed at the Transitions Champions on a sponsor exemption. His third-place finish was the highest at the event for a sponsor exemption. In July 2011, he won his first PGA Tour Victory at the Greenbrier Classic. He was struggling at times in the final round. Despite that, he earned his way into a 3-way playoff. Scott made a birdie on the first playoff hole which helped him win the title. After a win, he subsequently moved to 26th in the FedEx Cup Standings. Likewise, he went straight to 119 from 562.
Scott got his second career tournament win at the 2012 True South Classic. However, he was unable to defend his title in Mississippi as he picked a spot in the 2013 Open Championship. He subsequently got an entry to the U. S. Open. Then, he won the Farmers Insurance Open in January 2014. He got the title by a single stroke. After a year, he defended his Farmers Insurance Open title. However, he lost in the final round of a four-man sudden-death playoff.
Scott could not move to the next round as he was eliminated early on the first extra hole. Though, he was able to make a par. In July 2015, he was given a 3-month suspension for violation of the Tour’s drug policy. He reportedly took banned supplements due to his violations of the policy of the PGA Tour. In the third week of August 2022, Scott made it into the BMW Championship. There, he finished second to Patrick Cantlay on Sunday, August 21. Scott nearly won the tournament by shooting a final 2-under 69.

Scott Stallings is married to Jennifer Stallings. His wife, Jennifer is a travel agent and a professional walker. The couple reportedly went to the same school, Oak Ridge High School. Even though they knew each other since high school, the pair didn’t date each other for a long time. They went out the first time when they were studying in grade 7. However, they broke up very soon.
Scott and Jennifer began dating again during their high school days. After several years of on-and-off relationships, the pair tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in 2007. Together, they share two kids.
