Andrew Putnam is a professional golfer from Washington. He has performed consistently on the PGA Tour since winning his first at the 2018 Barracuda Championship. Putnam registered his first win as a professional at the WNB Golf Classic in April 2014.

Putnam was born in Tacoma, Washington, on January 25, 1989. He was born to parents, Dan and Karin Putnam. Regarding his education, he studied at Pepperdine University in Malibu. He used to play college golf in Southern California while studying at Pepperdine University.

Andrew Putnam played on the eGolf Professional Tour after becoming professional in 2011. He played his game on the Tour in the year 2013. At that time, he was 49th on the money list. However, he couldn’t earn a PGA Tour card due to his low rank.

Putnam won his first professional victory at the WNB Golf Classic on the Tour in April 2014. After that, he finally debuted his PGA Tour at the professional golf tournament, Shell Houston Open in 2014. He eventually finished eighth in the Tour Finals that year and earned his PGA Tour card for the 2014-15 season.

Andrew lost his tour card after finishing 192nd in the season-long FedEx Cup. He also missed the cut in 13 out of 23 events in the 2014-15 PGA Tour Season. Though, he returned to the Tour for the 2016 season. Putnam then finished 41st on the money list in the 2016 Tour season.

Even though he won $125,981 in the 2016 Tour season, it was not enough to help him earn a PGA Tour card. The following year, he won $266,296 in the 2017 Tour and finished eight in the regular season. In February 2017, he got victory and lifted the title of the Panama Claro Championship.

After winning the Panama Claro Championship, Putnam regained his PGA Tour card for the 2017-18 PGA Tour Season. In August 2018, he got his debut PGA Tour to win at the Barracuda Championship. After the victory, he finished with 5 Top 10s in the 2017-18 PGA Tour Season.

Andrew also finished 35th in the season-long FedEx Cup after winning $2,387,382 in the 2017-18 PGA Tour season. In October 2018, he played in the WGC-HSBC Champions tournament in China and tied for fourth. Along with that, he also earned $393,000.

Putnam recently competed at the Players Stadium Course in March 2023. However, he missed the cut and couldn’t proceed further. The 2023 Players Champions was won by Scottie Scheffler on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Scheffler finished five strokes ahead of the runner-up, Tyrrell Hatton at the Players Stadium Course in the final.
