Andrew Putnam played on the eGolf Professional Tour after becoming professional in 2011. He played his game on the Web.com Tour in the year 2013. At that time, he was 49th on the money list. However, he couldn’t earn a PGA Tour card due to his low rank.

Putnam won his first professional victory at the WNB Golf Classic on the Web.com Tour in April 2014. After that, he finally debuted his PGA Tour at the professional golf tournament, Shell Houston Open in 2014. He eventually finished eighth in the Web.com Tour Finals that year and earned his PGA Tour card for the 2014-15 season.

Andrew lost his tour card after finishing 192nd in the season-long FedEx Cup. He also missed the cut in 13 out of 23 events in the 2014-15 PGA Tour Season. Though, he returned to the Web.com Tour for the 2016 season. Putnam then finished 41st on the money list in the 2016 Web.com Tour season.

Andrew also finished 35th in the season-long FedEx Cup after winning $2,387,382 in the 2017-18 PGA Tour season. In October 2018, he played in the WGC-HSBC Champions tournament in China and tied for fourth. Along with that, he also earned $393,000.

Putnam recently competed at the Players Stadium Course in March 2023. However, he missed the cut and couldn’t proceed further. The 2023 Players Champions was won by Scottie Scheffler on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Scheffler finished five strokes ahead of the runner-up, Tyrrell Hatton at the Players Stadium Course in the final.
