Brooks Koepka is a professional golfer from Florida. He is the first golfer in history to win back-to-back titles in two majors, the U. S. Open and the PGA Championship. Koepka won his fourth major title at the 2019 PGA Championship.
Koepka was born in West Palm Beach on May 3, 1990. He was born to Denise Jackows and Bob Koepka. Brooks has a younger brother named Chase Koepka. Koepka was more into baseball while growing up in West Palm.
Koepka’s great uncle, Groat Koepka was a College Baseball Hall of Famer. Likewise, his father, Bob was also a baseball pitcher at West Virginia Wesleyan. Regarding his education, he studied at Cardinal Newman High School and later attended Florida State University.

Brooks Koepka played college golf at Florida State University. There, he won 3 events and was a 3-time All-American. He made a place in the 2012 U. S. Open as an amateur. However, he missed the cut by 6 strokes at the amateur major event.
Koepka began his professional career in the summer of 2012. In the initial stage, he played on the Challenge Tour in Europe. In September 2012, he got his first title at the Challenge de Catalunya. After that, he won his second title on the Challenge Tour at the 2012 Montecchia Golf Open in 2013.
Subsequently, after a month, he won his third title at the Fred Olsen Challenge de Espana. Brookes earned his European Tour card for the 2013-2014 season after winning at the Scottish Hyrdo Challenge. Following that, he qualified for the 2013 Open Championship.
Brooks played his first game as a member of the European Tour at the Scottish Open, where he finished T12. In 2014, he played a few events at the 2014 PGA Tour on sponsor’s exemptions and open qualifying. He got his first PGA Tour card after finishing at fourth-place at the 2014 U. S. Open.
Koepka then competed at the Turkish Airlines Open and won the title. He won his first PGA Tour title at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in February 2015. He reached 19th rank in the Official World Golf Ranking with the win. Brooks decided to leave his European Tour membership in 2015.
In 2017, he won his first major championship title at the U. S. Open. After the 2017 season, he went through wrist surgery. After recovering from surgery, he successfully defended his U. S. Open title and became the first player to win consecutive U. S. Open titles.
Koepka moved to No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking after he won the CJ Cup in October 2018. Following that, in May 2019, he successfully defended the PGA Championship. He won the Waste Management Phoenix Open in February 2021 and underwent knee surgery in March 2021.
Brooks joined the LIV Golf tour in June 2022 and played his first game in Portland. After that, the PGA Tour suspended him from playing the LIV Golf tour. He won his first LIV golf win at the LIV GOlf Invitational Jeddah in October 2022.
Koepka has recently been featured in the second episode of Netflix’s docuseries, Full Swing. The second episode, Win or Go Home showed his struggles during his loving relationship with his wife Jena Sims. The highly anticipated Netflix series follows various PGA Tour and LIV Golfers and explores their lives on and off the course. It was released on Wednesday, February 15.

Brooks Koepka is married to actress Jena Sims. The couple became engaged on April 1, 2021, and exchanged wedding vows in Turks and Caicos on June 4, 2022. In the Netflix series, Jena revealed how she met Brooks. She revealed that she slid into Brook’s DMs, and somehow from that, they kept texting, and they finally met in 2015.
