Early life

DC The Don was born on August 3 in the year 1999 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His real name is Daijon Davis. DC lived with his mother until he was 16. He was initially more focused on playing basketball. DC has attended high school, but, he was kicked out during his sophomore year. Following that, his mother sent him to his father who was staying in California.

DC then enrolled at the Chino Hills High School. He eventually completed his senior and junior years at the Chino Hills. Following high school graduation, he shifted his place to Los Angeles. DC reportedly received two scholarships for basketball. However, he eventually dropped his basketball scholarship to pursue a career in music.

DC started writing rap songs with his cousin when he was eight. He also learned rapping by watching his friends’ records. He also learned from YouTube tutorials and self-practice. DC started rapping when he was 16 after moving to California. At that time, he was hoping for the businessman, Lavar Ball’s Big Baller AAU basketball team. He played alongside LaMelo Ball while playing in Lavar Ball’s team. Afterward, he began creating music with Lonzo Ball, who was playing as point guard for the LA Lakers point.

DC recorded his first hit song titled “Everything 1K’ in March 2017. The track received immense popularity after it was featured in the first BBB shoe commercial of Lonzo Ball. Following the release of the commercial, he got a lot of attention. DC later featured on Lonzo Ball’s album titled “Born 2 Ball”, which was released in 2018.
