Remember of Majesty, also known as R.O.M, is an upcoming game by Redlab and published by Kakao. The scheduled launch is set for the end of February 2024 which is positioned as a hardcore PvP game. Before you enjoy this exciting new game, don’t forget to gather some Remember of Majesty Gold.

The official emphasized that the objective of R.O.M is to create a battlefield that fosters global player participation. Furthermore, it supports cross-platform gameplay between PC and mobile devices.

R.O.M Classes

Players can select from 3 classes: Knight, Ranger, and Magician. While there doesn’t seem to be subclasses for each class, the game showcases various weapons suitable for each class in R.O.M.

However, Knights and Magicians appear unable to use bows, unlike Rangers who have more versatility in weapon choice. The inclusion of melee weapons for Magicians seems illogical, as it contradicts their traditional role as ranged magic users. PK System

In terms of the PK system, players can compete in a vast free PK area in the game, and there is a system with clear rewards and costs. In addition to the bounty and prison systems, single players have a guard system that allows them to be protected by guilds.

The game is going to have 2 dungeons: one is a safe zone dungeon and one PvP dungeon where player’s name will be hidden. And that sounds like they’re going to have the same type of dungeon system as Albion Online, where the dungeons are not instanced, meaning that anyone can just go inside, where you can get PKed by them.

Trade System

While this tactic may not have been intended, it became a prevalent strategy. It remains to be seen if Remember of Majesty will adopt similar mechanics. Only time will tell how Remember of Majesty will unfold.

With the inclusion of endless Wars, Remember of Majesty appears to emphasize group collaboration, which could pose challenges as the player population fluctuates. It’s common for games to experience a surge in activity initially, followed by a decline as time goes on.

This can lead to difficulties, such as struggling to gather enough players for events or raids designed for larger groups. Additionally, the activity in the auction house may dwindle over time.

Remember of Majesty aims to address these challenges by offering 2 different encyclopedias: an item collection book and a monster book. However, the effectiveness of these resources depends on their accuracy and timeliness.

In some games, information may become outdated or be missing entirely, posing problems in competitive PvP scenarios. While Korean patch notes can provide some insight, not all players may have the inclination to sift through them. Hopefully, Remember of Majesty will strive to maintain up-to-date and accurate information to enhance the gaming experience for all players.
