He was studying in seventh grade when he started rapping. Besides singing, he was an outstanding basketball player. He even received a full-ride athletic scholarship to study at Goldey-Beacom College. While studying in college, he played Division II basketball.

Nevertheless, he left school in the middle of his junior year. He took the stage name, Pardi Mcfly after being inspired by the fictional character Marty McFly of the science fiction comedy series, Back to the Future. Later, he removed Mcfly and added Fontaine after being inspired by a famed French poet, Jean de la Fontaine.

Following then, he started working exclusively on rapping and songwriting. Pardison released his first mixtape, Not Supposed to Be Here in August 2015. Then, after a few years, he got to work with a rapper, Cardi B, between 2017 and 2018. Along with singing, he has also co-written various songs for the rapper, Kanye West’s album titled “Ye”.
