Paul Casey was born on July 21 in the year 1977 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. He shifted his place to Weybridge, Surrey when he was six. Initially, he studied at Cleves School and then joined the Hampton, School. After that, he went on to study A levels at Strode’s College.

Casey then attended Arizona State University with a golf scholarship. As an amateur golfer, he won 3 consecutive Pac-12 Championships in 1998, 1999, and 2000. Then, he went ahead of Tiger Woods’ scoring record of 18 under par in 2000. For two years in 1999 and 2000, he got the victory in the English Amateur. Casey was also a member of Ireland’s winning 1999 Walker Cup Team.

Casey competed on the European Tour in May 2001. There, he recorded a win at the Gleneagles Scottish PGA Championship. At the end of Season 22, he earned the order of merit. Likewise, he is the recipient of the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Award. Following that, he got the victory in the Benson and Hedges International Open and the ANZ Championship in 2003.

Casey recorded his first PGA Tour victory at the Shell Houston Open on April 5, 2009. With the win, he reached 6 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Paul won his 10th professional event at the 2009 BMW PGA Championship, where he defeated Ross Fisher. With the victory, he reached 3rd ranking.
