Zach Shallcross was born on July 31, 1966, in Fullerton, California. He was born to parents, Chapman and Megan Shallcross. Zach grew up with two younger sisters, Sammy and Peyton in nearby Anaheim Hills. His father served as a  fire captain of the Orange City Fire Department until he retired in 2020.

Regarding his study, he graduated from Servite High School in 2014. Then, he attended California Polytechnic State University where he played football. Zach earned good scores in academics and his name was included among honors students for four years. He received a business administration degree from Cal Poly in 2019.

Zach Shallcross initially worked as a sales operations assistant at Gavel Group. He joined the company in June 2010 and worked there for more than three years until August 2013. Then, in July 2016, he became associated with The California Mid-State Fair as a supervisor.

Zach dedicated over two years at The California Mid-State Fair until July 2018. Thereafter, he started working as a Cloud Technology Consultant at a software company, Oracle in August 2019. After serving more than a year as a consultant, he became a cloud technology account executive at the company in August 2020. There, he served for over a year until September 2021.

Shallcross was promoted to Senior Cloud Technology Account Executive at Oracle in September 2021. He reportedly closed $1.5 million of cloud infrastructure in his current role. Zach is moreover involved in strategically helping businesses in Houston extend, enhance and leverage the company’s software, platform, and infrastructure.

Zach came into the limelight after he made an appearance in The Bachelorette Season 19. He was revealed to be a contestant in the reality series in March 2022. Zach was featured in the reality series as Rachel’s contestant.
