Early Life

Andrea Iervolino was born on 1st December 1987 in Cassino, Italy. He was born to an Italian father, Giovanni, and a Canadian-born mother, Sonia. His dad belongs to a wealthy Italian family. However, the family later went bankrupt after the family business was handed over to an inexperienced hand by his grandfather.

Andrew suffered from a stutter as a kid. He was also bullied for his stammering issue. Andrea started having stammering issues after his father got into alcoholism. Although his teacher wanted him to transfer to a school for disabled children, his mother disagreed and blocked his transfer.

Iervolino was 13 when he and his friends launched a small tech business where they sold websites to local entrepreneurs in Cassino. After the early success, he left home at 15 and started working as a producer’s assistant on Broadway-style shows in Bibione, Italy. Later, he returned to his hometown and produced his first movie titled “The Cavalier of Love”. The movie was financed by local investors through crowd-funding and was released in 2003.

Nevertheless, he failed to distribute the movie in local cinemas. Later, he started the Cineschool Day initiative. He also came up with an innovative strategy where he added his movies to Cassino school’s curricula. Andrea also gave the students of schools the opportunity to watch movies during the daytime at a reduced price.

Iervolino founded the production company, Iervolino Entertainment in 2011. In August 2019, the production company debuted under the Italian Bourse’s AIM Italia market. In 2021, the name of the company was changed to Iervolino and Lady Bacardi Entertainment.

Andrew became the mentor and business partner of Italian movie producer, Luciano Martino while staying in Italy. Along with Martino, he co-produced several movies including The Marchant of Venice. In 2013, he lost his mother and Monika Bacardi joined him as a new partner. Andrea and Monika then established the AMBI Media Group. In 2015, his company acquired 85% of the EMG film Library in partnership with Raven Capital Management.
