Armando Montelongo was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 25, 1970. He grew up in California. Montelongo spent several years in California and then moved back to his hometown, San Antonio in 2001. He has a brother named David, a real estate entrepreneur.

Armando Montelongo rose to fame after appearing in the A&E reality series, Flip This House. In the second season, he has his own team from San Antonio and competed with the team from Atlanta. Montelongo’s team includes his then-wife, Veronica, and other two members, Randy Burch and Brent Holt.

Montelongo appeared in the reality series for three seasons. Then, he formed a film production company named Armando Montelongo Productions in 2011. The production company produced a feature movie, Line of Duty, which was set and filmed in San Antonio.

The movie was described as an urban crime drama and was directed by Bryan Ramirez, a San Antonio native. While he served as the executive producer of the movie. The movie was theatrically released in September. Prior to that, it was premiered in February 2013 with an estimated budget of $2.5 million.

Armando started a real estate investor career after moving back to San Antonio in 2001. After four years in 2005, he started offering real estate seminars. Then, he founded Armando Montelongo Companies in 2008, through which, he presented real estate seminars.

Montelongo would also provide a $1,500 three-day workshop and a training workshop for a $25,000 in-person through his company. Though, his company got into a controversy after it was investigated by the Texas attorney general in 2011. Later, he settled the case with no wrongdoing admitted. Along with that, he also signed 20 outlined conditions for Assurance of Voluntary Compliance.

The conditions refrained the seminars from any false claims. Then, in May 2010, he along with Conquest Racing sponsored an Indy 500 race car. A year later, he and Conquest Racing sponsored another car.

In March 2022, Montelongo pulled his lavish, Dominion-area mansion off the market. He had spent nearly 2 months seeking a buyer. The controversial Flip This House start had listed the mansion for $1.2 million at the beginning of December 2021.

Montelongo also faced controversy after being sued by his former students. Following that, he went through an investigation by two state attorneys general. Not only that, he is also accused of leveraging his TV stardom for his business seminars where he would promise and teach people how to get rich playing the real estate market.

Armando Montelongo has been married twice. He was first married to the reality star, Veronica Montelongo with whom he shares a son named Mondo Man. His first marriage ended due to personal causes in 2011. Then, he married his second wife, Whittney Montelongo. The Montelongo couple currently shares three kids together, Max, Titan, and Atlas Steel.
