The Florida native rapper, Flo Rida filed the suit against Celsius drink’s parent company, Celsius Holdings Inc in May 2021. The 43-year-old said that Celsius Holdings Inc. had previously broken the agreed-upon terms of a deal that they had made in 2014. Initially, he claimed that he was owed $30,000 for the violation of the agreement.

Later, as the company’s fortunes rose, the sum swelled in huge numbers. While talking to a news outlet, the rapper told that he helped birth the Celsius company and all he was looking for was some trustworthy people when the company became successful today, the so-called trustworthy people forgot about him.

However, the beverage company’s attorneys said that the company’s success came after the endorsement arrangement with the rapper had concluded. On the other hand, the rapper’s lawyer, John Uustal said that the rapper was open to taking a one percent ownership stake in the business as a part of his initial promise. Later, the jury awarded him $82.6 million. After the jury’s verdict, the rapper said that he remains a stockholder in the organization and would be open to working with them moving forward.
