Early life

Erin Napier was born in Mississippi, United States on August 30, 1985, to her parents, Karen and Phil Rasberry. Her mom, Karen has worked as a seasoned realtor in Laurel, and her dad, Phil runs a business. She was raised by her parents along with an elder brother named Clark Rasberry.

Erin completed her school education at a local school, and later she joined the University of Mississippi, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree majoring in graphic design. She initiated her career by serving as a corporate graphic designer.

Erin has been mostly in the limelight for starring on HGTV’s show called “Home Town”, where she and her husband, Ben renovate houses located in the historic district of Mississippi.

Ben and Erin were given an opportunity to appear as a host of the TV show, Home Town after they were featured in 2014 Weddings Magazine. In 2014, their stunning 1925 craftsman cottage was featured in Southern Weddings Magazine which grabbed the notice of many people. They were able to make the headlines for their unique design skills. Erin also made a story on their 100-year-old house on Instagram, after which, she began to receive more followers on Instagram.

After their appearance in Magazine, they were contacted by HGTV’s producer through an email where she wrote “This might sound crazy, but I’ve to know if they are interested in working in their new show,  been stalking you on social media and I’d like to put you guys on TV”. The pair agreed to be a part of the HGTV show, which has been aired for six seasons, and all of the season has been highly rated. The spin-off series titled “Home Town Takeover” premiered on May 2, 2021, and ended on June 14, 2021.

In the eight episodes spin-off, the pair worked with another community to renovate multiple houses and public spaces that were located within a single town. The HGTV network made an announcement in July 2020 that Wetumpka, Alabama will the new town to be featured in their new show of Home Town.

Besides her appearance on Home Town, she has worked along with Ben on their joint company, Laurel Mercantile Co., which was started to support local craftsmen. On October 2, 2018, Erin and Ben published their memoir titled “Make Something Good Today”.

After their marriage, the pair purchased and restored a 1925 Craftsman-style cottage. Although they have been together for 12 years, they still share the same affection and love for each other. The couple celebrated 2021 Valentine’s Day together with a romantic pajama dinner.

Erin’s husband Ben Napier is a woodworker, who runs his own show called “Ben’s Workshop”. The show is focused on DIY wood projects, and it ran for a second season on December 26. Together with hubby Ben, Erin shares a daughter named Helen Napier, who was born on January 4, 2018.
