Kroy Biermann was also active in wrestling and track besides football while he was in high school. In fact, he earned three letters in wrestling and two in track. Kroy also led his junior and senior football as a team captain.

For two consecutive years in 2002 and 2003, he was selected as the First-team all-Conference running back. Bierman was voted his team’s Most Valuable Wrestler in his senior year. He also had the most pins and takedowns.

Biermann holds the record for the second-most sacks in school history. He also made 7 fumble recoveries while playing for the University of Montana. Kroy appeared in 14 out of 15 games as a true freshman for the University’s team in 2004.

The Atlanta Falcons offered Biermann a new contract in March 2015. Before getting the offer, he spent a week on the free agent list. During the 2014 season, he led the Falcon’s defense with 4.5 sacks. Later, he signed one year contract with the Falcons and finished the 2015 season with 55 tackles.

In August 2016, he signed a one-year contract deal with the Buffalo Bills. However, just after two weeks, he was released as a part of the Bills’ final roster cuts on September 2, 2016.
