Zillakami formed a punk rock band, Scud Got Quayle when he was a teen. He formed the band with some of his school friends after being influenced by Gorilla Biscuits’ sound. At the earlier stage, he worked as a ghostwriter for a fellow New York rapper, 6ix9ine. While working with him, he wrote a song that needed two vocalists. Then, 6ix9ine told him that he should feature on the track. He eventually released the song under the name, Yokai. Afterward, they worked together again and followed up with another collaborative song titled Hellsing Station.

Zillakami and 6ix9ine’s bond fell out after he posted a picture of 6ix9ine engaging in a sexual act with a girl who claimed she was 13. In April 2017, he came up with his debut EP titled “LifeIsAHorrorMovie. Later, he got into a contract with the tattoo parlor’s son through his older brother, Righteous P, who used to work at that place. Zillakami then formed City Morgue with SosMula after a few days he was released from prison on drug charges. In August 2018, the two released their EP as a group which was titled Be Patient.

Following that, he was featured on the song, Vengeance from Denzel Curry’s album, Ta13ll. The track also featured rapper, JPEGMafia. Later in the same month, he was featured on Lil Gnar’s song, Man Down. In October 2018, the group, City Morgue released their first album titled City Morgue Vol 1: Hell or High Water. Afterward, he was featured on Powers Pleasant’s song, Please Forgive on November 29, 2018.

Zillakami joined Suicideboys’ Grey Day tour from July 24 to August 23 as a part of City Morgue. He got to perform on the tour along with the hardcore punk bands, Turnstile, Trash Talk, Pouya, Night Lovell, and Shoreline Mafia. Then, the hip-hop group, City Morgue released their second album, City Morgue Vol 1: As Good as Dead in December 2019.

After a few months in May 2020, the deluxe version of the album featuring several new tracks was released. In July 2020, the hip-hop group released their mixtape, Toxic Boogaloo. Afterward, the group dropped their third studio album titled City Morgue Volume 3: Bottom of the Barrel. In September 2021, he released his debut first album, Dog Boy.
