Alan Smolinisky was born on November 28, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. His father’s name is Mario and was born in Argentina in 1945. His dad was poor and Jewish. Alan stated that the people from Argentina were not so good to his father as Jews were treated as second-class citizens.

Alan’s dad decided to leave Argentina and moved to Los Angeles, where his Uncle Samuel lived. His dad arrived in Los Angeles with four dollars in his pocket in October 1963.
