Stu Feiner was born in Long Island New York, United States on January 31, 1961. He was born to Howard Feiner, who has served in Germany twice. Feiner has described his father as the world’s toughest veteran. His father turned 84 on February 11, 2021. Stu was also close to his mother, who died of breast cancer complications on March 17, 2002.
Feiner also had a brother named Les Barry Feiner, who passed away in 2006 due to substance abuse. For his high school education, he joined Farmingdale High School from where he received his graduate degree in 1979. After that, he attended the Nassau Community College, where he studied for four years and came out holding an Associate’s degree in Business in 1983.

Feiner has dedicated his time to handicapping industry since 1982, and has made an appearance in the national TV show called “Sports Advisors”. The TV show presented gambling as a financial market that would generate lucrative returns.
As he was getting popular as a handicapper, he got to feature in a Sports Illustrated article which had a titled “1-900 Ripoffs” in 1991. He then gave permission to document his NFL picks for the four weeks. However, Sports Illustrated later presented him in a negative way as only 37% of his prediction were correct.
By the year 1997, he was able to build a multi-million sports handicapping business that was worth around $16 million. As per the reports, the handicapping business was operating with 200 people. His business ran successfully until the internet started. In 2005, the movie titled “Two For The Money” was released, where his real-life story was presented along with former college football player Brandon Long. The actor, Al Pacino played his role in the movie.
However, the central character of the movie was of Brandon Long, and, Stu Feiner was presented as the support character. In the movie, the story revolves around Brandon who gets connected with the most popular touts of the sports gambling business, Stu Feiner.
