Amanda started playing golf when she was nine years of age. Along with golf, she also played volleyball and enjoyed swimming. In fact, she played volleyball for two years at Kutztown University.
In the initial stage, she worked as an intern at WHRU radio station. Then, she served as an intern at various networks such as CBS2, New York Islanders, and New York Jets. Renner began her journalism career by covering high school reports for the MSG Networks and Verizon Fios Channel 1.
Then, she started working as an in-house reporter and host of the PGA Tour in 2011. While working as an in-house reporter, she produced and reported tournament highlights, events, and shows for the website.
Amanda later moved to Callaway Golf in 2016 where she worked as an in-house reporter for the sports golf manufacturer’s media production team. Along with that, she also produced digital content for the media production team. Renner became associated with CBS as a part-time golf reporter in 2017.
