Cameron Tringale was born on August 24 in the year 1987 in Mission Viejo, California. He was born to Joe Tringale and Robin Mullin. Cameron grew up with his brother named Jon. He shared a good bond with his brother while he grew up. The two brothers would spend their weekend riding on the SeaDoo jet ski on to the ocean trips.

Cameron and his brother rather grew up playing soccer, basketball, and hockey. Earlier, he thought golf is some old game played by his dad and grandfather. He began taking interest in golf after watching one of the greatest golfers of all time, Tiger Woods.

Cameron is a graduate of Mission Viejo High School. Following high school graduation, he joined Georgia Tech. There, he lifted the Atlantic Coast Conference championship title as a freshman.

As an amateur, he competed in the 2007 U. S. Amateur Championship. However, he faced a defeat in the first round match of the championship. Then he qualified again for the championship in 2009. The second time, he was able to reach to the third round. During his time at Georgia Tech, he became a three-time NCAA All-American. He also earned second-team honors for two years in 2006 and 2007.

Cameron played as a senior and made it into the first team in 2009. That same year, he competed in the U. S. Open. However, he missed the cut in the golf tournament. He subsequently made into the Walker Cup and Palmer Cup teams and represented the United States. Cameron was able to get a 2010 PGA Tour card in December 2009 through a qualifying school.

Tringale made his PGA Tour debut at the 2010 Sony Open in Hawaii. He made over $300,000 in 21 starts of the 2010 season. His overall earning was just above $300,000 and thus he finished at 176 on the money list. Cameron tied for 11 at the Viking Classic which turned out as his best finish.
